Otakawhe Wetland Restoration/te whakaora i te repo Project
Come and join in the community wetland native species planting at the Otakawhe Bay Wetland. Come and meet your neighbours, both local and from the other areas of Waiheke. Let's talk whilst working, about each others observations and best practices of wetland restoration, both on Waiheke and the rest of mainland NZ.
All welcome. Bring tools and refreshments. We will be planting the area where the bamboo has been removed.
This event is part of EcoFest, an annual month-long festival taking place Saturday 22 March – Tuesday 22 April 2025.
