Otakawhe Bay Wetland Neighbours Day - Ecofest

Waiheke Join the wonderful community of Otakawhe Bay, Waiheke, to meet neighbours and like-minded people for some wetland planting and weeding. Learn about the wetland, what lives and thrives in it, and what shouldn't be in it. Be ready to roll up your sleeves and have some fun in the mud while helping out together! If you’ve got tools for planting or weeding, bring them along to make the day even smoother. We'll end the afternoon with some homemade treats and refreshing drinks. This event is part of EcoFest, an annual month-long festival taking place Saturday 22 March – Tuesday 22 April 2026. Inspiring climate action across Tāmaki Makaurau, it is hosted in collaboration by EcoMatters, Kaipātiki Project, Beautification Trust and Waiheke Resources Trust, and proudly supported by Auckland Council.
