We are renovating the historic Hikurangi courthouse which forms part of the Hikurangi Museum. We are repainting and repairing the building. Scaffolding is up until 26th March. We are reliant on volunteers helping us to get the mahi done. This is a community heritage project. We have been having fun getting to know each other whilst we work and share kai. All welcome to get involved. There's plenty to do from scraping and sanding old paint, to window putty, replacing broken window glass, painting, repair of old items (Clock), replacing any rot, cleaning, plus making /serving drinks and kai. Ngā mihi nui! Contact hikurangi.museum@gmail.com for more information.
