Ingredients

These chocolate chip cookies are made and sold fresh at Lifewise Merge Café. Easy to make, and delicious to eat, it is not uncommon for the café to sell out quickly!

Wet ingredients:

  • 500 grams butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 12 tablespoons condensed milk
  • 4 tablespoons vanilla essence

Dry Ingredients

  • 4 cups plain flour
  • 1 cups rolled oats
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cups desiccated coconut

Instructions

Melt the butter in a saucepan on a low heat. Add brown sugar, condensed milk and vanilla essence.

Mix well all the dry ingredients.

Combine dry and wet ingredients together into cookie dough.

Portion the cookie dough on an oven tray. (You can save some cookie dough for later on, it freezes well.)

Let it cool down in fridge.

Bake at 170C degrees for 15-18 min.
